How we started

Peregrine Fitness opened in 2014 with one 18,000 square foot club in northwest Las Vegas. We started with 40 founding members and three coaches.

Andre Villanueva wanted a gym where a first-timer gets the same coaching attention as an athlete: a real orientation, coaches on the floor, and equipment kept in working order.

Twelve years on, we operate four clubs across the valley with about 9,000 members, 26 coaches, and 40 front desk, Kids Club, and facility staff.

Meet Andre Villanueva

Andre grew up in North Las Vegas. Before opening the first club, he spent nine years as a strength and conditioning coach for high school and college athletes.

He holds the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential. He built Peregrine so regular gym goers could train with structure.

He still coaches the 5:30 AM strength class at the Northwest location on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Local workouts and youth evaluations

We host a free Saturday Community Workout on the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, rotating between clubs. It is open to non-members so anyone can drop in.

The Holiday Food Drive Workout takes place on December 12, 2026 at 9 AM at all clubs, where members bring two canned or boxed food items for a local food bank. We also offer free sports-performance evaluations for youth sports leagues once a season.
